What can I say, finals can suck the life out of you.

Since it's been awhile, let me catch everyone up on a couple things that have occurred with Running Gun Studios:

First, Episode 2 is out.  If you haven't seen it yet, either drop by our web page and www.spriggshalo3.com or our youtube account.
Second, Our webpage is going to go through a total overhaul now that schedules are a bit clearer.  Expect to see a lot of stuff popping up over the next week, including a completely different design for the page and other material we're preparing for the update

Third, I'm going to give everyone an Idea of our release schedule:

Episode Three should be out the 15th of December, POSSIBLY earlier.  After the delay in episode 2, I'm not going to promise that date as a gaurentee however.  We've got a lot of things to take care of and we really NEED to get certain detail handled.

Two weeks after that:
Episode Four

In that time frame, we also are planning to put out a couple bits of 'extra' content including a couple teasers, production footage, and a very special interlude for a cause we feel is important.

After that, we're considering taking four weeks on Episode Five because of it's importance to the story and scheduling concerns, but nothing has been decided yet.

Take care all, and expect to see me ever two to three days from now on.  At least, till midterm come around again.

It's amazing how new toy syndrome can just totally obliterate expectations.

Currently I'm setting up and preparing the Adobe Creative Studio, and transferring everything from my old machine to the new machine so that I can use it tomorrow at our recording session.

Production looks good, I'm hoping for good news tomorrow.  I'm confident in the 30th as our next release date, but I'm still holding off on saying for sure.

Secondly, an update on the web page.  As some of you know, we had some trouble last night.  I had no idea the new format all but exploded when accessed by Internet explorer, and it wasn't until one person contacted me directly that I was able to fix it.  However, that also put us back a ways as things had to be entirely redone!  I'm not going to give concrete dates from here on, but if I can't get it up by tomorrow at noon, I'm handing it back over to the professionals since they should have the time again.

That said, thanks for all the support, and I'm getting back to work.

Needless to say, it's obvious which direction I went.

After I get a bit of sleep I'll finish out the sidebars and fill out the character profiles, finishing up the basics of the site.  The video and pics went good, more details tomorrow.

Special thanks to the guys out there who got me the "Two for One achievement."  I needed it.

Peace, and see you in the morning.

What a ride.
It hasn't even been a week since our first episode was released, but what an awesome five days of chaos. We've done everything this week, from dressing up as zombies (pictures coming soon) to 'improving' on our soundroom, and still there is so much more to do before we release episode two. It's daunting, to say the least.

Now, to the actual news:

First off, let me start by saying that I never expected or hoped that "Spriggs" would be this much of a success right off the bat. I expected something a little bit slower, where we could build up on the secondaries and not have to worry about the immediate difficulties of setting up a web site and so forth. The word 'oops' comes to mind. Still, I won't complain. Thanks to everyone out there for proving my wildest expectations wrong.

Secondly, I'm going to drop a minor bit of bad news by saying that our idea of doing something 'special' for Thanksgiving had to be cut back from my original ambitiousness due to circumstances beyond my control. Still, I shall at least keep the spirit of my promise alive and try to get out some production materials and the cast page up by midnight tonight.

Production on the other hand is in the works. We've got 12 episodes scripted and have work in progress up to episode five, putting us in a good place overall. Except for our voicework.

Our voicework is currently stuck on episode two for one reason: the availability of a couple of the awesome actors we've chosen. Right now, there is no way we can do certain parts of the voice track until Sunday, MAYBE. And without the audio, I can't do the corresponding video. So, until then, I just have to do what I can and wait.

And Lastly, it is our hope that we will bring episode 2 out sometime in the next two weeks. But before that, we are going to have a special announcement. Stay tuned, because I think your going to like it. :)

In closing, I will just say stay tuned! We're not dead yet, despite how much I may resemble it at this moment.

Signing out, Michael Reed,
